Incekum is a small town located along the southern Mediterranean coast
of Turkey about 28km east of Alanya and 37km west of Side.
The town of Incekum has a population of around 2000 but this is boosted
considerably by
tourism during the summer months. There are several large hotels in the
area including The Pegasos Royal recommended by Thompson which has 5
swimming pools and more than 10 different waterslides.

There have been very mixed reviews on
these hotels, so it is advisable to investigate them further before
booking. Although Incekum is a small town with
only a few shops and restaurants, it is worth visiting because of
its beach.
Incekum beach is one of the best
beaches along the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is set
in a sheltered bay with fine sand and crystal clear water. The water
remains shallow for
almost 50 metres out to sea making it ideal for families with young
children.
For adults and
older children there are a number of water sport activities
including windsurfing and parasailing.
